In the early stages of the game, as long as the player successfully places a campfire, it will attract your first Tribesmen. You can directly arrange work for this Tribesmen.
So, what preparations should be made before arranging work for Tribesmen?
View Tribesmen attributes First, let’s press [O] to open the character panel. Click the button on the left side of the game screen as shown in the picture below to switch Tribesmen.

Then you can see various information about the Tribesmen on the right side of the screen, including the maximum proficiency level of skills and the weapon specialization he has learned. Assigning suitable work to Tribesmen often achieves twice the result with half the effort. In the early stages of the game, we should focus on the current proficiency level of Tribesmen rather than the maximum proficiency level, which can ensure the efficiency of Tribesmen’s work. Of course, in the mid or late game, Tribesmen with higher skill proficiency levels have more advantages. Some Tribesmen have higher weapon proficiency limits, and such Tribesmen are suitable as combat followers, which we will discuss later.

In the later stages, when there are more Tribesmen, we can also view all Tribesmen information through [I] on the clan panel, or click to view other clans, and view the Tribesmen of other players in the tribe.

After confirming the work that Tribesmen are good at, you can arrange for Tribesmen to work.
Arrange work for your Tribesmen If you only arrange for Tribesmen to harvest, you need to give him a corresponding tool: press [E] to short press Tribesmen, open his backpack, put the sickle (can collect bushes, etc.) into his backpack. Of course, you can also put the tools in the box, and Tribesmen will take them by themselves.
Then, exit Tribesmen’s backpack interface, and then long press [E] on this Tribesmen, select [Tribesmen work].

From the above picture, we set the work into 4 steps:
- Select the work type [Harvest]
- [Workplace] You can directly select your [campfire], or use [R] on the map to customize a mark, and then you can choose your custom mark in [Workplace], and Tribesmen will work near the mark (range is a circle with the mark as the center and a radius of 30 meters). Note that this mark should not be too far from your campfire, otherwise, your Tribesmen will not be able to work. Of course, also ensure the safety near the workplace to avoid your Tribesmen being attacked while working.

- Select harvesting as the work type, and you need to put the sickle in Tribesmen’s backpack.
- Select the storage location, Tribesmen will put the collected resources in the specified storage box, campfire, workbench.
Then press [E] to confirm the work, and then click on the task bar with the mouse, and press [space] to let Tribesmen start working. If this Tribesmen does not start working, you can check whether this Tribesmen lacks the corresponding tools (logging requires an axe, harvesting requires a sickle, mining requires a pickaxe), or see if the workplace is too far away. If you want to change the task, please press [E] to confirm the completion of the settings.
If a Tribesmen has multiple jobs, you can hold down the task bar with the mouse and drag the task to change the priority of the task.

In the later stage, when you have more Tribesmen, you can also arrange work for multiple Tribesmen by long-pressing [E] on the campfire.

You may also notice that you can select a storage box in the work arrangement interface. After your Tribesmen collect resources, they will put the resources into the storage box you set, making it easier for you to find resources in the future. Next, I will teach you how to set up storage boxes.

After setting the type, it is recommended to modify the name of the item box to facilitate future search. At this time, in the storage box interface, press [G], you can transfer the same type of items in the backpack to the storage box.

Tribesmen workbench hosting First, let’s press [P] on the carpenter’s table interface to assign a responsible Tribesmen for the carpenter’s table.

Here, the arrangement of Tribesmen is arranged according to the corresponding proficiency limit (wood and stone) from high to low. You can temporarily choose Tribesmen with high proficiency, or you can choose Tribesmen with high proficiency limits to coordinate the work of Tribesmen in the long term.
The yellow mark represents that this Tribesmen is responsible for managing this carpenter’s table. Then, move the cursor to the [wooden board], and then press [D], you can set a item making task, you can adjust the number of boards to be made at will, as shown in the picture, I set a task to make 242 wooden boards. At this time, as long as there are materials for making wooden boards [logs] in your storage box or carpenter’s table, the Tribesmen managing this carpenter’s table will automatically take the [logs] from the storage box and then produce wooden boards on the carpenter’s table.
